Georgia Energy Symposium

Power for Tomorrow is a non-partisan organization dedicated to advocating for sensible market structure of electric utilities and helping better educate lawmakers, the media, regulators and the public about the hazards of a deregulated electric system. PFT seeks to ensure that utility regulation and governing structure benefits the average ratepayer. A non-profit 501(c)(6) corporation, PFT was launched in 2021, in the wake of the Winter Storm Uri disaster in Texas, which exposed the Lone Star State’s risky mismanagement of Texas’ deregulated power grid.

The Georgia Legislature Symposium, was developed by PFT to inform Georgia lawmakers about the benefits of the state’s current market structure. This event will give lawmakers an opportunity to hear from energy experts from various backgrounds on how to ensure that Georgia’s electric system remains both affordable and reliable, and continues to make the Peach State a great place to live and work.
